A TRIP TO MAINE - 2

Board Games

Stuart has been storing all the board games that were popular with him and JR in their adolescence and they decided it was time to introduce the new generation to them.  He filled a suitcase with games and burritos and carried it with him to JR’s place when he came by for a visit.  I’ll bet you’ll see one or more that were popular in your time.

Perfection Perfection unleased

The ladies took to Perfection, but had trouble beating the timer, which scattered the pieces asunder and delighted everyone watching!

Battleship Reading

Battleship was fun for the older crowd. Reading was still fun for all.

Scarlet solos Recital flowers

Scarlet did a solo at the old folks’ home. Flowers after the recital.

The first time I saw Scarlet after she came home from a dance class, I asked her what she had learned.  When she hesitated, I said “Did you learn to plié?”  She lost her smile and said “How do you know about that?”

Ladies on the porch

Don’t know when or where, but who can resist?

The world is a canvas          Even nature

All the world’s a canvas. Even nature’s art is subject!

An update of Courtney’s gardens just a few weeks after my visit!

AFTERWORD

Most of the pics in this Ponogram were taken while I was in BH, but the ladies, peppers and strawberries grew while I was unpacking, doing laundry, sleeping, and otherwise getting over the trip.

I sincerely look forward to your comments!
