WATERCOLOR DRAWINGS OF FINNERUD FARM IN SWEDEN, WHERE FREDRIKA JOHANNESDOTTER (GRANDMA TILLNER) WAS BORN
These drawings were done some time ago by Uno Galle. His son, Stellan Galle sent them to me. The Galle family and Grandma Tillner's family were related and lived on Mon farm and Finnerud farm, respectively. Uno and Stellan are my cousins.
Stellan visited Finnerud recently and found it about 1500 meters off the road. Only one wall of the main building with a fireplace and chimney remain. He says the view from the homesite is very pleasant and he wouldn't mind having a home there. There are lots of trees and the remains of a small iron mine.
